Something not working at the table? Here are the usual fixes.
I can't join a table
- Check the four letters. They never contain vowels, so a code like BCDF is normal.
- You need an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). Café Wi-Fi that asks you to sign in first can block the app until you have signed in.
- A table closes by itself after 2 hours without anyone in it, and a game after 6. Ask the host to start a new one.
- Scanning the QR code with the Camera app opens the app directly if it is installed. If it is not, the link takes you to the install steps.
I lost my connection, or my phone locked
Open the app again. Your seat is held for you, and the home screen shows Rejoin table with the code. You will see where the game is now.
Someone's phone died, or they left
The host sees who the game is waiting for, and can end the game. Moving a seat to another phone is not in this version.
Getting the beta
Pocket Table is in a TestFlight beta. Install TestFlight from the App Store, accept your invitation, and install Pocket Table from there. Ask whoever invited you to the table if you do not have an invitation yet.
Report a problem
In the app, open Settings and choose Report a problem. It starts an email that already includes your table code, seat, and build number, which is what we need to find out what happened. It does not include anything about the game that you could not see yourself.
