Pocket Table
Privacy
Last updated 18 October 2026. This is the version for the TestFlight beta.
The short version
There are no accounts. You pick a nickname and an avatar for each table, and that is all you tell us. A table disappears from our servers on its own, at the latest a day after it ends.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your nickname and avatar are shown to the other people at your table. They are kept with the table.
- The table's game state (who sits where, what has been played, who has voted) is kept so that you can reconnect after a dropped signal or a locked phone. A table that nobody touches is deleted after 2 hours in the lobby or 6 hours in a game, and a finished table is deleted 24 hours after it ends.
- A random device ID and a random seat token are made by the app and stored in your device's Keychain, so that the app can put you back in your seat. Our server keeps a one-way hash of the seat token, and your device ID for as long as the table exists, to recognise a request your phone sent twice. The device ID is never shown to other players.
What stays on your device
Your last nickname and avatar, and the seat token of a table you are in so you can rejoin it. Removing the app removes them.
Who runs the servers
Tables run on Cloudflare. To deliver a connection, Cloudflare handles network details such as your IP address, and keeps short-lived operational logs under its own privacy policy. We use it for nothing beyond running the service, and we do not sell or share it.
Analytics and crash reports
This beta collects no analytics and no crash reports, and has no advertising or tracking. We expect to add crash reports and basic usage numbers later. When we do, this page will say exactly what is collected before the app does it.
